"Warranty repair went smoother than I thought"
My washer randomly quit on me, so I went through the Sears warranty on sears.com to set up a repair. I was expecting it to be a hassle — because these things usually are — but booking the appointment was actually easy, and I was able to pick a time that worked with my schedule.

The technician showed up right on time, figured out the issue quickly, and even had the part already in the truck, which surprised me. The washer is running again now, and I really don’t have anything to complain about.

"I had to call Sears about my order..."
I had to call Sears about my order, and the customer service rep was really nice. The only annoying part was that there was an issue with the order in the first place, so I did have to take time out of my day to follow up. But she found the problem quickly, explained what was going on in a simple way, and didn’t make it feel like a big ordeal. I got my update later that same day, so overall I’m happy with how it was handled.

Delivery showed up right on time, which was great. The install was mostly quick, though it felt like it took a tiny bit longer than expected, nothing dramatic, just one of those “is it done yet?” moments. Overall, easy experience

"Pretty solid for the price"
I wasn’t expecting much, but this actually feels sturdy and works better than I thought it would. Maybe they cut fewer corners on the build than other stuff in this price range, but who knows. Either way, I’m happy with it so far.

“I'm not entirely certain, but, perhaps, because Sears only sells it's own stuff and isn't like Amazon or E-bay where you can sell on their site.”

My daughter ordered a kitchen aid mixer on sears layaway. she paid the balance off 2 1/2 weeks ago but sears has no idea if/when the mixer will ever be shipped. anyone have suggestions as she needs this mixer to make a cake on 12/27 which she has already been paid for. i have contacted sears 4 different times and still am getting nowhere.

“My best recommendation would be to contact the corporate offices and work your way up the chain until you get someone in charge and let them know that taking your money without having the item 'in stock' and available to ship as soon as it is paid for is a violation of the Consumer Protection Act. If they still don't send it, I would file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency, the BBB and all of the review sites on the internet.”

I order shoes on sears.com now i can not return them. i did not get a return slip, and the sears store will not return them. because they came though baston shoes. what do i do?
